We are now requiring all our riders to be equipped with proper riding gear including helmet (preferably a full face one) it's the law anyway, jacket, riding pants (no denim unless they are armored), gloves, and above ankle boots.   Crashes happen. Gearing up minimizes the damage.  We want to minimize the damage. If a rider shows up without this gear they will be asked to come back once they have it.

March  8Randsburg
"Long ride with a different kind of destination. Old historic town of Randsburg in the middle of nowhere. Lots of dirt bikes come into town and belly up to the old time bar. Does not feel like you are in Ca. More like Az. Or Nevada. Lots of high speed desert roads and a really fun and new kind of place. Lots of cool little junky antique stores. Bitchin!"    Carla K

This time we will take the clockwise loop up to the 58 to avoid the late afternoon traffic in Santa Barbara.  We will be slabbing it on the 101 in a few sections with some nice canyons and rural roads to break it up. Just past Santa Margarita we will take Pozo Rd down to our lunch stop at Pozo Soloon. After lunch we will complete the loop back up to the 58 for more twist and turns until we get to the big whoops formed by the San Andreas Fault.
