January 7, 2009 Cal Coast Riders News Hello Members and Friends, Sunday Ride Update Jan. 11- Adamson Ranch in Malibu. Our Member Jeff Olmstead brought it to our attention that the Adamson Ranch in Malibu might not be open Sundays. Their hours listed on their site are not too clear so I called them and the PARK is open but not the HOUSE and that's what I wanted us to check out. So we will not be stopping there but I urge you to take the 80 minute tour sometime because you will learn so much about how important the Adamsons were to Malibu. So, JUST FOR THIS RIDE WE WILL MEET AT THE DEL TACO/SHELL STATION IN CAMARILLO ON LOS POSAS JUST SOUTH OF THE 101 AT 8:15. DO NOT GO TO VENTURA CARL'S JR. At 9 we will take a ride in the Santa Monica Mntns and arrive at Malibu Seafood Fresh Fish Market at about 11 for lunch before they get crowded as suggested by George and Kitty. After the delicious lunch we will head north on PCH and make a right on Decker Canyon which was just repaved in 2008 and come out in Westlake and stop at Bad Ass Coffee.
